Vicki Varvaressos    painter

While having known the work of Vicki Varvaressos through numerous exhibitions held at Watters Gallery, I did not really focus on this artist's work until I took up the role of volunteer curator for a survey exhibition of her art for the Shoalhaven Regional Gallery in 2018. As with all great art, it takes some time and concentration to fully appreciate its qualities. In the process of 18 months of researching, visiting the artist and looking at her art produced over a 40 year period, I also managed to acquire some works.
