Tania Morandini - artist
Tania Morandini is an Australian artist whose raw abstractions and photographic works are intentionally investigative. Complex concerns are queried and pared down to a series of abstracted visual cues or representative material forms. Opposing relationships between subject, material, process and context, shape subtle questions and connections.
Her involvement in cultural development and project management across public and private sectors have led to collaborations in public arts, events, education, training and programming. The artist studied fine art, completing a Masters Degree (Distinction) at the University of Wollongong. Works are held in private collections, Campbelltown Art Gallery Permanent Collection and Gilbert & Tobin (corporate art commission).
