Shannon Smith's sculpture "Away" was purchased at her National Art School Master of Fine Art graduation exhibition in 2016. At the time the exhibition "WAAM ! It's women's abstract art man" was being installed at the Jervis Bay Museum and Gallery in Huskisson and by chance there was space to include "Away", displayed along side May Barrie's "Granite Fragment".
