First seen the art of Peter Liiri on exhibition at Legge Gallery, really liked it but (it felt) every time I seen a work that I would want to purchase, it had already been sold. Finally Jasper Legge sat me in the gallery and pulled out every Liiri they had in stock, until I picked out one - only to discover that someone had put a "hold" sticker on it. Much later, one day after Legge Gallery had been incorporated into Watters Gallery, Sonia Legge, showing me around the new stock room pointed out Fresno Street and I acquired it.
