Doreen Tolhurst - painter
During the period in the 1960's, when he was living in Melbourne, Gavin Hughes purchased this 1964 watercolour as a birthday present for his mother Rose Hughes.
It is signed, in pencil on the lower right 'Doreen Tolhurst 64' (or possibly 'Falkhurst' ) and on the lower left 'Mt Macedon'. Have been unable to trace any record of the artist. |
